Christina Fals

Christina Fals (she/her) is a seasoned bilingual Hispanic-American therapist in Washington D.C., offering virtual counseling to clients in the DC, MD, and NJ areas. With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in assisting individuals of diverse backgrounds through mental health crises, chronic illness, transitions, and more. Christina has a deep commitment to helping those with depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use, and severe mental health diagnoses reintegrate into the community post-treatment.

 

Having worked in various healthcare settings, including the Pediatric Immunology Clinic at the University of Miami hospital and Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Christina has honed her skills in supporting newborns, children, teenagers, and mothers with HIV, as well as individuals with schizophrenia. Her passion for serving the LGBTQ and latinx communities drives her to provide culturally sensitive psychotherapy services in English and Spanish.

 

Christina's therapeutic approach is client-centered and holistic, incorporating techniques such as CBT, DBT, MI, SFT, and Play Therapy to tailor interventions for positive outcomes. She is a trauma-informed therapist dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for self-exploration, healing, and personal growth.
